Microsoft windows vista service pack 2 update has been released only for MSDN and technet members for testing and it is not available for public and also not avialable in microsoft download center. But it is leaked and avialable for you to download. You can download it from the link given at the end of this post. But before you install it go through the complete post for complete instructions and details.


Microsoft does not provide telephone and e-mail support since it is a beta release.
The service pack 2 beta is time-limited software and this will no longer work after May 1,2010. You must uninstall this before this date. I strongly recomend you to install the complete version of service pack when it is released. For this u need to uninstall the this beta version. Also Note that you must have service pack 1 installed before u install SP2.

After u install service pack 2 beta, The following text may be displayed in your desktop
"Evaluation Copy"
This doesn`t mean that your windows is not genuine. This only indicates that you have installed a test version of windows which is time limited.
This evaluation copy text may be displayed after the second startup after you install SP2. And this may remain during first restart after you uninstall the service pack. This wont appear after second restart.

To uninstall Windows service pack 2 beta:

1)Click Start button

2)Copy and paste(or type) the following command in start search box and then press enter
appwiz.cpl

3)Click view installed updates

4)click Service pack for microsoft windows(KB948965) and then click uninstall

5)Follow the instructions and complete process
